Tom's Reviews I wish that all modern hard-core was this damned good, because most of it doesn't even come close to the power of Nicolas Cage Fighter. The guitar riffs are chunky, and the vocals cover the hard-core genre with a healthy dose of Death metal influence. As an added bonus, I get the feeling that these guys are Earth Crisis fans based on the guitar playing. (EC is kinda local to me, I grew up watching them level The Lost Horizon in Syracuse,NY in the 90s; so they hold a special place in my heart) Favorite track: Black Jackal.

Black Jackal 03:05
Fear Ravaged by uncertainty Subjugation Taught that I am worthless Despair manifests at every turn in my life, those hackles raised, I see the canines glisten. Poised to strike, I feel his presence, out for blood and this bastard has caught my scent. The Black Jackal is here His presence must be answered It can never be tamed But I will escape Gripping me with fear, I await the pain. Tearing soul from flesh, I feel his claws eviscerate, But I'm accustomed to this, What the f*** can you ever take away from me? The Black Jackal is here. In search of recognition. But I'm a free man, And now he bows to me. The Black Jackal is here. His power subdued And though he lingers, I am liberated. I have spent every waking moment of my life suffering beneath your gaze. Yet I am the master of my fate. Black Jackal, heel. Black Jackal heel

Devil's Head 03:35
Get out of my head. I know you're in here, you're so close that I can even taste the resentment. Quintessential pessimism coursing within me, and once again I recognise the anger manifests. I can't stand this. The devil lies within. Vitriol routinely compounds inside, the ever growing resentment that I harbor for myself. Why can't I ever escape this? It seems like no matter what I do, I will always be a dead weight. The devil lies within. And I will always succumb to him. Reassurance is an absent-minded pipe dream There's no alternative, my vices beckon me. Sh*t! There's no alternative, my vices beckon me. I can not stand this. The devil lies within. I've reached the breaking point. Substance entrance me, the perfect cure I must consume. Narcotic dreams, hallucinations, captivate and alleviate. I've reached the breaking point. Get out of my head. These contiguous states, the path is all the same Familiar presence I recognise you here. Why can't I ever escape this? It seems like no matter what I do, I will always be a dead weight. The devil lies within. And I will always succumb to him. Reassurance is an absent-minded pipe dream There's no alternative, my vices beckon me. The devil lies within. Get out of my head. I can't stand this. I'm passed my breaking point.
